NH 10 child DEt

(N Hill’10: Child, detail)

Henry Martin: What is inspiration? How do you find it?
Elisa Cantarelli: My “dotting” technique is a powerful tool that identifies me as an artist.
It is my signature technique, my personal way to express creativity.
My ideas mainly come from my surroundings and reflect my personality and energy.
Since I moved to London from a small northern Italian town my inspiration has been given a boost,  while still remaining deeply attached to my roots.

Henry Martin: What is the greatest challenge you face as an artist?
Elisa Cantarelli: The competition with yourself to strive to create or develop something newer, better every time. To maintain a high standard that helps you continually grow.
